"I like the idea of color coding to label certain actions, and I also like the overall color theme (dark). The small size is nice, since all it is, is an editor, and therefore I can't imagine why it'd be big in the first place."

"Atom is great hackable solution for a JavaScript editor. Actually Atom is great solution for any programmer who needs a inexpensive alternative to Sublime. Atom is fully customizable, giving you the option to change the interface, add scripts and other add-ons. Worth the download, and since it is free it is definitely worth trying."

"This is not a good solution, Vim deal with being a text editor. it doesn't deal with the coding or issues that Java has so it would not work out."

"I was intrigued when I read that this program had a coding assistance feature. Along with the other features this is a good tool. Again, it may be better on a Windows computer."

"What can you say about JavaScripts but BORING and tedious. However this editor takes the tediousness out of the equation. They've fixed a lot of the bugs this program had when it first launched. It makes life a lot easier for the programmers like my husband who are still writing in code."

"I love to edit Javascript, but some of the methods were cumbersome. I searched for help and could find nothing. I then was told about Codenvy, which gave me an easy to use work-space to make these Javascript edits. Set your storage to a local computer or a cloud means you can take your work with you."

"Although this solution was a little more confusing, it did include useful information for this problem. It says it is workable through MacOS, but it was slow on my computer. It may have worked better on windows."

"Visual Studio is a fantastic tool, even as its free base version. I've used this for countless hours of editing C++ coding and yes, it can be used for JavaScript as well. There's absolutely no downside to trying it out and if you like it, buying the better version will go a long ways."

"This Komodo Edit its more of a simpler (elegant nonetheless) version of its IDE counterpart. To me. it feels very intuitive, non-complicated and with all basic features necessary. I use it for editing HTML, XML and text files basically. It's definitely not the best available HTML editor out there but its free and useful. I recommend it if you are developer more than a designer."
