"As a programmer, finding reliable IDEs for development is critical. It is where you will spend most of your time, so there is nothing worse than an non-user-friendly piece of software. Fortunately, CodeAnywhere knows this frustration and has put out a great piece of software that is highly customizable. They also support collaboration, so you can invite another programmer to view your code in realtime and work on it together if necessary."

"Cloud9 is a cloud computing platform that allows people to save their programming spaces onto the cloud. It has native Nodejs support but the actual IDE for cloud 9 isn't that great when compared to desktop options that are not cloud based. There is no plugin functionality in Cloud9 which makes it difficult to extend the platform and add things like snippets and specific intellisense for different versions of JavaScript."

"I believe this is a decent solution. I am not very familiar with JavaScript IDEs so I can't say for sure but from what I recognize it looks like a good place to work on as well as test your work on different formats. The site is nice."

"This solved my problem somewhat well. It was a good site to have available when I did not have access to other tools that were stored locally. Some debugging features I tend to use a lot are not available, though - it's kind of "barebones"."
