"I was sick of playing Pokemon, since I had played it since I was a child. I still loved the mechanics and visuals of the game of Pokemon, so I wanted to try something similar. WorkeMon is great because it looks like Pokemon's graphics and has a cartoon-like feel. It has a trainer, a turn-based RPG battle system resembling Pokemon, and there is a progress of growth throughout the game."

"A must-have for any fan of 'mons' collecting games! I first tried Bulu Monster (for free!) last week, and have barely put my phone down since. The in-app purchases are reasonable and of good value, and the game is plenty fun enough even without paying. Try it today and we may see each other in multiplayer!"

"I have played 'mons' type games (Pokemon, Digimon etc) since I was old enough to operate a controller - I still remember Pokemon Red/Blue on the old, original Game Boy. In the over twenty years since then, I have never played a game as great as Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 2. A sequel to the original, this game improves on the formula in every major respect, including also a brilliant story and delicately-balanced gameplay. It is fun both for experts and for casual players alike!"

"If you've graduated beyond Pokemon, as I have, then you might enjoy this game. I find the concepts here both refreshing and scary. The digital world out there is full of bad guys, when you think about it, adpating a warrior mentality and enlisting teammates against them sounds like a good way to go (and train.)"

"EvoCreo scratches my Pokemon itch on my phone. I really like how it has the same feel as Pokemon while still being different and new. Definitely worth the $1."

"I purchased this as a gift for my step-son, he is absolutely obsessed with it and will not put it down! Yo-Kai Watch 2 is an amazing sequel because it that takes all of them game play, rules, and game design from what worked in the first game, refines the playing process and smooths out the wrinkles by expanding the frontiers in all the right directions creating an Role Playing Game (RPG) that kids literally become hooked on, non-stop. It might appear as though it is a Pokémon clone, but it's actually a big, immersive sandbox adventure with some great ideas of its own. It reminds me of a blend of Final Fantasy and Zelda games. I was playing it for a few hours and my step-son was getting upset because I would not share the controller. The style, comedy, and varying difficulty level settings will make it a RPG aimed for younger players, but don't dismiss it even if you like your RPG games to have dark themes and adult humor. You never know, Yo-Kai Watch 2 might be exactly what you need even if you are an Adult."

"I was tired of playing Pokemon, so I went looking for a different game to play. I found Dragon City, and I love playing it! This game keeps me entertained and having fun the entire time. I have not grown bored once since downloading it. I really like the game play and the look of the game, and it is a lot of fun breeding different hybrids of the dragons. If you are looking for a fun game, and you like dragons, then download this game today!"

"This app is fun and has a Pokemon type of style. But it keeps crashing, and I wish they would update the app. The story is really good and there's even a farming aspect."

"Deity Quest is an RPG where you have divine magic. The goal is to convert followers, grow in power, and become an over-god. There is much competition, including six versus six battles. You can be a single player or join multi-player games. It's $9.99 for the base version - not bad for something that can provide hours upon hours of engaging entertainment."

"If you are part of the Pokemon craze then this is one to check out! Basically a refreshing on the previous games. The graphics seem a little dated but still a fun way to pass the time."

"A fan made game that tries, and mostly fails, to be a better Pokemon game. I appreciate the effort but without the Pokemon Company's backing it falls well short of what it could be. If some of the features from this game were added to Sun and Moon and especially Pokemon Go it'd improve those games a lot, but Insurgance as a stand alone mostly fails."

"If you are looking for a Pokemon game that is not as popular, I would recommend trying this one. The story is similar to the regular Pokemon games but the plot differs in areas which adds a new element. It's also made by fans, which is exciting if you like to have a hand and/or are interested in game development."

"Pokemon Zeta and Omicron are made using RPGMXO. These fan-made Pokemon games are disappointing and frustrating to play. I do not have a lot of time to play games so I am not going to waste any time on a glitchy fan-made game."

"Siralim is a RPG game that is similar enough to Pokemon for people who are looking to branch out from the Pokemon games. The graphics remind me of 16 bit Zelda games so there's also the cool nostalgia aspect of the game. Siralim is available on Steam."
