"Opera isn't bad, not bad at all. Though I personally have a limited experience with it. That being said none of my experiences were sour, so I'd say give it a go."

"I was so tired of pop ups! I was just about ready to quit using the internet, just kidding! Then a friend told me about Adblock Plus for android. I installed it and my problems were solved. I could enjoy surfing the internet again without annoying pop up advertising."

"I don't typically use my phone for Internet but I have tablets I would download this app for. It is really annoying to have pop-ups when you are trying to Internet. Slows everything down and just gets old quick. The only question I have is that whether it lets you choose site by site to adblock or if you have some wiggle room in what sites won't have pop-ups. I know some sites won't let you continue if you have the pop up blocker activated. But otherwise definitely an option I would try out."

"I was looking for an ad blockers compatible with Android and someone recommended the Adblock browser. I was skeptical because it's not just an ad blocker; it's a whole new browser. I couldn't find any better alternatives though and this seems to get the job done just fine. I would still prefer something that integrates with Chrome though."

"If you are looking for an adblocker on android adaway is one of the original and still one of the best. While you will need to be rooted it does look very well."

"Ad blockers are everywhere, but some of them just add more ads to your computer. Ghostery is an all in one package to make sure ads don't bother you, plus you don't have to worry about any nefarious tracking."

"HTTPS Everywhere is a great extension that I'm not sure how I lived without. It's fantastic in encrypting websites you visit, making your web browsing experience more secure. It's also customizable and users can write their own rulesets depending on the websites they visit. It works well on Android, but requires utilizing the Firefox web browser."

"Add Detector for Android is a good solution to zapping annoying pop up ads or full page ads on your browser on your android device. I like to browse sports related websites and advertisers love to push all kinds of ads on these websites. this app works pretty good to detect and eliminate these ads before you ever see them."

"It will detect any apps with ads, which is a bit useless since I can see that for myself. It will also detect ads, which are malicious, which might be useful if you typically install dodgy apps. It does what it says, so no complaints."

"Brave Browser: Fast AdBlocker is the best Android ad blocker you can get. It blocks every ad and makes me web pages load a lot faster. Now, I'm not annoyed every time I browse the web."

"Ghostery probably wouldn't be that bad if it weren't for the constant bugs and glitches. It seems like there's a new issue with the app every day which severely limits its function. I shouldn't have to check for software updates every day! It's unreliability makes it such a hassle to use, sound recommend looking for a different ad blocker."

"Antivirus & Mobile Security is great for keeping your device clean and safe but it is a terrible ad blocker and I would not recommend it for such."
