Best apps for hair stylists

I'm a hair stylist. I've been looking for an app where you can digitally try a new hairstyle. I found Men's Hairstyles and I love it. It helps my clients pick a hairstyle that is right for them. It's easy to use and has a wide variety of hairstyles. It really helps my clients find what they want and it helps me by making it easy to see exactly what they want so I can better serve them and give them a haircut they love. Highly recommended! More

When I need to cut my hair, I often have difficulties to explain to the stylist how I want my hair to be cut. This app can solve this problem. Now it is possible to show what exactly I want. More

I really think this app is lacking is more than a few ways. First of all, the color changing feature leaves a lot to be desired because it lacks the vividness of what your hair would look like after dying it. That really takes away from the usefulness of the idea, I think. Although, if you can deal with a little less saturation and utilize your imagination a little bit, with the colors given as a guide, then it does what's expected, but nothing more. More

I have read sveral good reviews on this app but unforunately I cant find a working link for it. :/

Sometimes I don't know what hair style I want or if it would even look good on me. With this app I can look beforehand and see, which is a great app and I think hair stylists should have an iPad with the app in their stores so customers can try it. More

Easy design to maneuver and plenty of hairstyles to match your taste. I wondered how it would look to have long hair, not too bad! Looks like I won't be cutting it for quite some time. More

Most of the apps here are like marketing apps but this one is different. As a self-taught hairstylist, I awalys find virtual styling apps as very useful tools as they can reduce the effort of actually trying them out. More

Pretty neat idea. I love that it takes my photo and allows me to experiment with different styles and what I'd look like. Great to get some ideas of the next direction I want my hair to go. More

Hair Salon is a great little app if you want to check out whether or not a certain style would look good on you. I don't think it really appeals to hair stylists though, as they already have a good idea of what styles look good on different face shapes, etc. More

I used this a lot when I was running my own hairstyle studio at home. it helped me book appointments, keep track of my budget, and a lot more. I was a really useful little management tool. Once the gunshot wound on my arm heels I'll probably use it again if I get back into hair. More

Such a creative tool. I like how all my contacts/clients are listed so I can followup on those who haven't booked in a while. Like a marketing tool. The day-by-day calendar is easily viewed with the color separation, so even on the small screen its completely readable on the iPad. I would like to see more on the Reports. Reports are very important for seeing your daily business, profit, etc. More

I sometimes think that maybe I should try a new hair color but then I'm like oh no what if it looks bad I'll be stuck with it for a long time. Finally I have found a solution. Hair Color! It is super easy to use. All you do is take your picture and then you can virtually try out new hair colors until you find the one that is right for you. It makes it easier to go to the salon with confidence and say I want a new color. More

Who would have ever thought to create an app for hair color. This is simply amazing and is so fun and easy to use.

I have emailed them and will edit this review if they can help me. After I bought the in app purchase it won't even open- even when I deleted and re downloaded it. Hopefully I can get it to work or get a refund for the money I spend without getting anything in return. As of yet I don't recommend it but will update More

If you work as a hair stylist or just like to spice up your hairstyle yourself, Hairstyles is a great app for you. My girlfriend uses it a lot and she seems to really like it. I've tried it myself last time I went to cut my hair, and it was so much easier with this app. More
