"Love this app! Not just for rap, but for everything. Making playlists is easy, and the search interface is good. I prefer it to iTunes. Of course it is much better if you have Music unlimited rather than just the free stuff on Prime, but at 8 bucks a month, this is still the best imo."

"While Spotify makes for a good music and steaming app, I've found a number of limitations, most importantly the sheer repetitiveness of song on playlists. While some is normal, I don't want to hear the same songs in short fashion and would assume the app would know better but it seems it doesn't. If you can get beyond this, it might be good for you, but otherwise, skip it."

"Spotify is very simple and straightforward to use. I like the simplicity of the layout and the fact that I can get detailed information about any artist that might pop up while I'm listening to a particular music stream. It stores a lot of information (such as the names of songs that I've listened to) from past sessions as well which has been really useful to me."

"I don't have much room for apps on my iphone so I am very selective. I needed a music app that has a cache so my phone wouldn't have to use data all the time. Soundcloud works better than Pandora because it saves some data on your phone for replays."

    DID YOU KNOW

Did you know that Beyonce’s The Formation World Tour is considered as the highest-grossing tour in North America with over 2 million tickets sold, hitting a whopping revenue of 250 million US dollars, according to an article released by Billboard? The decline of the music industry since 2002 was overcome by the growth of the live music industry. According to sources, the revenue is projected to grow from 7.2 billion US dollars in 2015 to 9.1 billion by 2021—this proves a growing music engagement and consumption among the fans. Consequently, live music is among the top music trends of 2018—Jay Z, Beyonce, and Ed Sheeran are among the artists who are on the roll of conquering world stadiums. This trend prompts venue owners, promoters, and festival directors to step up their game to appeal to today’s fans. An interesting note to consider is the rise of less-known artists and upcoming talents that will break through—look at Cardi B as she goes in the limelight in 2017—thanks to different social media channels and music platforms indie and amateur artists now have the avenue to showcase their craft. Moreover, according to Rolling Stone, the next wave of Boy Bands is about to dominate the music chart this 2018.

"The Shazam app is the perfect app for people who want to know a song, it is on the tip of your tongue, and you can't come up with the title. Or you hear a song on the radio and love it, but don't know what it is. Shazam identifies the songs for you."

"I've compared Slacker premium side by side with Spotify , Groove, and Pandora. Not only does Slacker's music quality seem better but their interface is hands down superior to their competitors. Spend $10 on premium, download your playlists, and enjoy data free music--The app does not require any connection to start up!"

"I am always looking for a better player than the stock one and so far Groove Pass seems to work really well. It has a lot to offer and looks way better. It seems to play better too. All around, a much better player and I would recommend you check it out."

"This is a like to the Google Play store, not an iPhone service. It does have good reviews and people seem to like it overall. There may be a better suited app tho"
