"I found sketchbook to be a great easy drawing tool to pass the time. Unfortunately it's prone to crashing."

"If you're a pixel artist, Pixel Animation Studio is an android art app that lets you draw and animate pixel art. You can save your finished animations as gif or mp4 and upload to different services. There's also a sprite editor, which you can use to animate sprites! You can even import sprite sheets and edit them within the app, which could be really cool for animating sprites that already exist."

"I get really bored when traveling by bart for my daily commute in San Francisco. Recently, I started doodling the passengers I saw everyday to pass the time. After I shared a few on my instagram everyone became obsessed! The time it took to move my paper into a digital format was frustrating, so I've now moved over to a digital format and exclusively use Sketcher Pro for all my drawings of people sleeping on bart."
