"This game is so much more than just a board game, and I love it! First, I love the writings of H.P. Lovecraft, and this game makes it feel like you are in one of his books. Second, using the app gives the game a whole new level of fun. Third, this game keeps you on the edge of your seat the entire time. It is an absolute blast to play! Don't let the price tag scare you off. This game is worth every penny."

"Bored with board games? Star Wars fan? This game will rock your board game world. It's super fun, and incorporates the best of Star Wars - the original trilogy. It pits the Empire against the Rebel Alliance and whoever meets their objective first wins. Super fun, super Star-Warsy, makes you wanna grab your light saber and knock down some bad guys!"

"Terraforming Mars is a great adult board game. I was looking for something my sons might play together or with their friends and it was a pleasure when they all enjoyed a game over an evening without being plugged into the video games."

"Through the Ages: A New Story of Civilization is perfect for history buffs and strategists alike. I even got my teenaged sons to play but it think it's because they like using their militarism to go at each other. I'm glad it holds their attention span for a couple of hours."

"This game is really great if you want to spend a couple hours playing with your friend. You feel powerful as you win each victory point, inching ever closer to that +20 or -20 (depending on what side you're on). Each turn depicting a new timeline of the Cold War."

"If you are looking for a fun strategy game that is very interesting and in detail then Terra Mystica is for you. I have played this game for hours upon hours and I still have not reached the limit to the different situation you are put in. It is very challenging and I can promise you that you will have fun playing this game. It took me less than an hour to learn all the basic settings and how the game works. I Highly recommend Terra Mystica."

"I grew up playing Risk with my big brothers, and after bringing this to the last get together, we've switched games. It's complex enough that it doesn't make you feel juvenile, but not so much that you forget to have fun. I love this; it's great for a board game night with friends!"

"If you are looking for a random board game to play with your friends for a random weekend, odds are Gloomhaven isn't for you. It is very expensive at around $130 and is intended for a very specific group of people. I enjoy table top games, so I gave it a try and really liked it. A warning though. It is for you to spend a lot of time playing, so don't expect to finish a full game in one night."

"This is wholesome family entertainment that is always engaging and extremely replay friendly. This game is great for young to elderly players. I could play this for hours during a family get-together, say after that delicious thanksgiving or christmas dinner when everyone in the house is relaxed and willing to play board games. Gameplay is considerably fast paced but not too long drawn, one can easily be engaged for an hour or two. This game is great entertainment for 2 to 5 players. The only downside to playing this game is that it requires a bit of space to spread out the board, so consider cleaning out your dining table folks!"

"My family and I are getting tired of computer games and we wanted to get something that we can do as a family. I found a great board game called Arkham Horror. It is great fun, it had been so long since we played a board game I had forgotten what a blast they can be. Our family spent an evening laughing and playing an interesting that is set in the 1920's . There are monsters and other scary stuff that really entertains all ages. Go for it!"

"I have played this a ton with my friends on game nights. Betrayal at House on the Hill is one of those games you can play many times because you never know how it is going to play out. I can never figure out who will betray me, that is always my downfall. The most innocent of friends will feed you to monsters. Who would guess?"

"I'm a huge fan of board games, and I love puzzle and problem-solving games in particular. But there's only so many times you can play Risk, y'know? Pandemic is an awesomely exciting game that asks you to imagine what you'd do if a disease broke out for which you had to find a cure. It's gripping, action-packed, and fun."

"If fantasy card playing is your thing then Netrunner is a great option. It's a competitive game that pits you against your rival. It's a neat game that can be played with just two people. Although geared to a younger audience I think people of all ages will enjoy this game."

"Castles of Burgundy is a fantastic board game. Strategies and game play change with each game, so it's very re-playable. It can be a bit of a commitment as it's a somewhat long game to play, but it's well worth it!"

"If you loved Arkham Horror, you NEED to get Eldritch. The Eldritch Horror even has a Mountains of Madness expansion pack. I love the fact that you can have up to 8 players, which makes it the perfect game for parties."

"You probably remember playing monopoly with your parents when you were a kid like I do and in retrospect you wonder how they could tolerate it for so long. But board games have come a long way since then, and Agricola takes strategy and holds your attention in the best way, as you grow your farm and family. You can play it with your kids or your friends at a party. There is a lot of potential tactical play as you get better at it."
