"MaxiNutriton has protein bars that taste great and help me satisfy my sweet tooth healthily. They also have more things like protein powders, supplements, and healthy recipes. I've tried some of them and liked them, but by far the Promax Lean Bars are the beeest. .... Like candy, but not fattening!"

"Great little app for taking my kids temperature, but has the most annoying feature ever: It allows you to export temperature logs, but instead of being a text or csv file, they are image files! So you export pictures of the data and if you want to keep the information for your child's registers you have to transcribe the readings manually. Ridiculous!"

"I don't have a thermometer at home so I've been trying to find a way to figure out my body temperature with my iPhone. I stumbled on "iThermonitor" yesterday and so far it has worked great! It seems to take accurate temperatures. It is also very easy and fast to use. I love it!"

"My wife uses this app for our kids. It's just that it's still intended to be used with a 50$ device/thermometer. Furthermore, even if you pay that much for a simple thermometer, it is worth it."

"I guess if you need this sort of thing this would be a good app. I have no need for it and found it a bit ridiculous that you would use an ipad to take a temperature instead of a thermometer."

"It's a nice app to use for our body temperature and it's easy to analyze."

    Did you know

All iPhone and iPad models do not have an external temperature sensor. They have a built-in internal temperature sensor that decides when to shut the device down to prevent the battery from overheating. This internal sensor, called a “thermally sensitive sensor” or thermistor for short, is a resistor with a resistance that changes in response to temperature. Ambient temperature sensors do exist on some smartphone models, like the Samsung Galaxy S4 and the Galaxy Note III. However, there’s a reason why most phones don’t have a thermometer for air temperature. It lies on the difficulty of getting an accurate reading, as heat sources within the device itself, such as the battery, might affect the sensor’s readings. Additionally, real-time temperature data for any location are easily available over the internet. There are some thermometer apps for phones with a built-in temperature sensor, but these apps are limited to getting readings from the immediate vicinity of the phone. As a consequence of this technological hurdle, body temperature apps are mostly for recording and keeping track of temperature data. Paired with smart thermometers, these apps provide continuous updates and graphs for temperature trends. Since most body temperature apps are focused on helping with common fevers, they are equipped with medication tracking features, alerts for high temperature, and medical tips.

"Great app to check your pulse. It uses iPhone flash to do that. Free version checks pulse, while paid version has some additional content which is absolutely unnecessary. The free version is already cool enough!"

"Surprisingly, when I first opened this application, I expected a thermometer but instead found out it was just a weather application. It doesn't really take any immediate temperature from what I can tell. Instead, it is just getting weather information from somewhere else on the internet. In my opinion, this is deceptive because the title advertises something different."
