"It's easy to forget that Amazon even has competitors these days, but Barnes & Noble is still my go-to. I read a lot of novels, and love having bookshelves filled with books. B&N seems to send me coupons all the time, and if you're lucky enough to still have a physical B&N in your area, you can buy online and often go pick up the book to skip the wait on shipping. Great selection as well."

"One of the very best things about the book is that he doesn't just throw recipes out there, then try to explain with a little blurb above them, or even, as Robertson did, to give an in-depth explanation after you've tried your hand at it. Instead it teaches you the concepts first, then goes and gives you a structure of recipe writing that helps you identify the concepts taught within the context of the recipe. You're going to feel more comfortable making the bread from the first attempt. Very good and you never experience this one in your life."

"I liked this. This provided me a way to create bread that I have always enjoyed eating at the bakery but did not know how to make. I especially liked the section on how to create ciabatta bread, which is what I always get when I am at Panera Bread. This will save me a lot of money over the long-term."

"I was so excited to get this book home and try all the recipes! As a person who prefers to bake her own breads instead of buying store bought this was right up my alley! The recipes were easy to read and follow and broke down in such a way that any first time baker would be able to make and follow them! Awesome for anyone who loves baking bread at home!"

"Great book for people with some experience in building ovens. As a first-timer, I found it difficult to decipher all the details needed to build my oven. Takes a while to read through author’s personal experiences as he tries to explain the step-by-step process of building the perfect oven"

"Disappointed in this book overall. It's not very comprehensive. I tried a couple recipes and they were nothing to write home about. Just meh, I feel like I'd have had better luck by trying a different book."
