      "I enjoy reading self help books, so I was intrigued to see this book on reading people come across my radar. It's an interesting concept - the author does a good job of pointing out ways that you can interpret a person's true meaning in what they are saying based on how they are projecting themselves and their body mannerisms."

      "This book is a fascinating read. I came in hoping for a how-to manual, but what Navarro does is far too complicated to pick up over the course of 300 pages. However, it is an informative and consistently engrossing look into the little known science of nonverbal behavior."

      "Body language can tell a lot about a person and believe it or not having good body language can help you succeed in your career, I found myself without a job and it had been years since I've done interviews for a job.       "I wanted to make a better and long last inpression on people I was trying to work with at a new job. I as going to a networking event at the end of the month and wanted to say more with my face then words just incase it would help. So I got this book and worked at the 7 day plan. I can say now, the techniques t all worked out in my favor because a guy I wasnt even talking to that not emailed me and said I had a look and presence about me so he wanted to call me for an interview."

      "I randomly picked this book up at a garage sale a few months ago, read it while on vacation, and didn't give it a second thought. Then, just last week, I was going through a fight with my girlfriend and realized, "Holy crap, this stuff works!" I called her out on her BS and she was absolutely stunned. The look on her face was well worth the ten bucks I spent on this book."

      "I think this book does a good job of explaining how you need to listen when people are talking to you. It explains body language in terms of regular language, in that it is an important way of communicating your thoughts. There's some scientific knowledge as well as practical steps for improvement."

      "When I purchased this book I was concerned that it was a cash grab. After reading it, I realized I now pick up tell from peoples body movements when I'm not even trying to! This book is the real deal and I would highly recommend it to anyone who is interested in learning how body language can show you if somebody is lying!"

      "Cool book with some interesting theories. I was looking for some more well-rounded information as to body language, not just in spotting liars, but this was kind of cool. I'm not sure how much I buy all this stuff about being able to tell when people are lying but this was a neat read."
