        DID YOU KNOW?

Did you know that Cyberpunk 2077 was based on a pen and paper role-playing game released back in 1990? After its announcement during the 2019 E3, Cyberpunk 2077 quickly became one of the highly-anticipated cyberpunk games. You can also attribute the hype from the game's trailer which featured an animated Keanu Reeves. And it seems that Reeve's role is relevant to the storyline of the game. His character as Johnny Silverhand was the one that carried over from the tabletop RPG, Cyberpunk 2020. For those who don't know, Cyberpunk 2020 was initially written by Mike Pondsmith and released by R. Talsorian Games in 1988. However, its second version released in 1990 was received better by consumers at the time.

CD Projekt RED has confirmed that their upcoming cyberpunk game is set 57 years after the 1990 tabletop RPG. That's why in the game's locations share resembles the ones in Cyberpunk 2020, as shown in its gameplay videos. CD Projekt RED was also the team behind one of the best-selling open-world PS4 games in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. But unlike the 2015 game, players can fully customize Cyberpunk 2077's protagonist. Yes, the given name and the surname, the physical features, and even the gender can be tweaked. No one can say if Cyberpunk 2077 is really worth the hype though as it is set to be released on April 16, 2020. But luckily, the game is now open for pre-orders. And while waiting, why don't you try out Android cyberpunk games? Indulge yourself first to other games of the same genre while waiting for next years release.
