Playerunknown's Battlegrounds is a decent first person shooter accessed here through the STEAM interface. I'm not much of a shooter fan but the game did hold my interest for a bit. I can't say I'm much of a STEAM fan either, but there were a few good options offered. Give it a try, but don't expect to be blown away. More

This is a really fun steam game! I liked it a lot and have spent quite a few hours playing it. The last man standing aspect makes this game truly feel epic. More
by Dorothy Wallace
As an avid gamer, this is a great game to play! I love shooter games but I am so tired of getting getting teams that troll or do not take the game seriously. I love that this game is about being the "lone survivor", so my performance is solely dependent upon me, rather than dealing with afkers, trolls, or bots. More

I loved Battlefront. It's relatively beautiful in a way you can't really see anywhere else but, occasionally, in other games from DICE or similar developers. There's war and death and murder happening all around you and there's you and whatever choice you choose to make to help your warfront. You put your head down, lasers whizzing all around you, and you run. More

This is a pretty fun sea battle simulator. The only serious downside I've run into is the community being a bit inactive at times. When you do find enough players for matches it can be a lot of fun though. It can be very grindy, but overall it's a decent war game. More

I don't know about you but if my video game doesn't include some epic battle or huge Gladiator style fight then it isn't much of a game. Stuff like Skyrim let's you down with its storyline and the overall quality of the bosses so much you have to install a DLC so you can span 100 dragons and feel like theres really something cool going on. Oh.. that's just me. But regardless Age of Empires II really brings back the feeling of epic fights to the PC war simulator genre and will surely satisfy a need for "epic" immersion. More

StarCraft is awesome. I am a board game guy from way back: star fleet battles, military board games (Battle of the Bulge), Risk, Chess, I love them all. StarCraft is the perfect game for a strategy gamer. It gives you all the detail and nuance without some of the hassles of board-play. More

I've been playing BS:Midway since it released in 2007. It's a perfect blend of RTS, flight sim and ship sim. You can sit back and watch the battle unfold while giving orders to your ships and planes or take control and play as an individual soldier. The graphics are showing their age for an 11 year old game and I'm sure there are better battle sims now, but they all get compared to BS: Midway. More
