"I was never great in school at writing prompts. I would think what I wanted to say in my head, but have trouble conveying that to written form. I needed help to improve my skills and came across CorrectEnglish. It does a great job improving my writing skills, as well as makes me feel more competent in my abilities."

"Don't let the grammar police get you! This is the best app if you need a grammar checker. It has even better features if you go pro - you can use their checker for multiple languages. Easy to use and right in the palm of your hand."

"Grammarly is a really effective tool that helps scan everything that I write. Rather than rely on word processing to catch common misspellings and grammar errors, I find that Grammarly is much better at actually detecting what you are trying to say and helping you say it! The best thing, is that it's completely free!"

"All of the aspects that can be customized are really great. The live corrections are so much better than the ones in Microsoft Office programs. It's also really cool that you can type something on your PC, then continue it on your phone. This has really changed the way that I write."

"This is a great program. I think that the regular spellchecker really doesn't work that great and get all the grammar. But, this program does and I am always writing papers so this is a huge help to me."

"This is an ok grammar checker but I prefer the built in tools of Google docs for papers and Grammarly for online comments. If you want a no-fuss grammar checker it would work and looks simple to use."

"As someone that types in a few different languages, grammar and spell checkers can be inconsistent at best in foreign languages. I like this tool so much because it is more robust than the built-in spell checkers of Windows machines. It is nice to see errors that are commonly missed. I like that it is frequently updated so I'm sure I am getting the most current grammar and spellings of languages I am not 100% fluent in."

"Paperrater is an convenient online program that uses Artificial Intelligence to evaluate the quality of a paper. Features include grammar checks, suggestions, and plagiarism checking. It's a free alternative to human proofreading that can offer some peace of mind and confidence in your writing before handing it in to be graded. I recommend Paperrater to any student looking for an affordable second set of eyes for their college paper writing."

"Microsoft word spell check doesn't catch everything for me. My teachers have noticed I made mistakes, but I told them that wasn't the case. They showed me reverso, and proved me wrong haha. It's found a lot of mistakes that other grammar and spell checkers didn't catch."
