Total 3D Home, Landscape and Deck is a design software that covers all your property. It has the tools for inside and out and from floors to cabinetry. The best thing is that it drag and drop. That makes it so much easier to use. This fits in the topic without a doubt. More

While Total 3D Home, Landscape & Deck is not really aimed at pros (it's 29.99) I found it useful to play around and work out some basic home remolding needs. The tutorials are good and everything was simple enough that I had no problem getting my design on. More

For n amateur home designer, NCH dreamplan home design was a good purchase. This program has all the detail you can think of to design a home, from flower pots to rusty pipes, every part of the house is there to be detailed, as realistically as possible. Perhaps best, the program is fun to use. After a quick tutorial, playing around with the intuitive and interactive design features almost feels like a game. It's easier than it looks! I highly recommend this product. More

THis is a fair solution to the problem. However, there are many better home design programs.

This is quicker and more convenient for me to use compared to Autocad. AC's been taking me years to fully learn, but much of its functions are simplified with VA. Within hours I was able to navigate through the interface of VA and I'm using this ever since.

Virtual architect is the only home design software I will ever need! The 3D graphics render any of my layouts in vivid display. I appreciate that for $99.99 I can utilize this tool for years to come.

Don't really have much time to load presets for customizing my designs so I'm glad that this program has almost all for my use. It has the presets that are proven to be so much useful for my designs. More

Home Designer Suite is a nice must have for any person looking for a nice simple way to design your home. The 3D is really nice to have, that coupled with the sample rooms really made it easy to visualize what I could do for my home. My favorite part would be the landscaping options. As someone who loves to garden I could see myself getting lost just playing around with this feature alone.

I'm currently on the trial download and so far I'm liking the versatile options I could have when it comes to designing the landscapes. Pretty intuitive interface and this responds well on my PC.

Home Designer Suite is a 3D program which you can use to see how different designs and layouts will look in your house. It's really useful when redecorating a room and getting a feel for different layouts. The program isn't free but it is a high quality app.

I've tried this software on my boss' PC. This is actually good and easier for me to use than AutoCAD. The only downside is that this is so expensive. Almost 400 bucks for a program like this! But this does the job pretty quick so it must be justifiable. More

This looks like just what I need. It helps me visualize home design in 3d.

A lot of features for not a big price. I like the amount of features and options it gives me. Much more depth than standard home design software.

I like the graphics that are used in this software, it is easy to tell how your house will look with the updates you have planned.

I think Space Designer 3D is a nice piece of software. I tried the demo to design a small house and it was quick and responsive. I had fun walking around the space and putting different furniture and artwork. If I needed a software to design a house I would use this. More
