"Snowed in? Can't do anything and feel like playing a dark game? This one is for you. Limbo is a game that will get your eerie side inspired. This little fellow needs help finding his sister who apparently has disappeared into the darkness of the game world."

"Wow! I never thought I could fall in love with a "simple" puzzle game. No other game is as beautiful as this particular one. The designers really did an amazing job creating such a fasciniating and whimsical universe. Every time I play it, time passes by, and I completely loose touch of reality! Couldn't ask for a better game."

"Are you into video games made by independent developers? Do you love video games with a dark theme and where it seems like you're isolated from the rest of society? Then look no further than the video game platformer "Inside". In this game, you will play as a little boy who finds himself in the middle of a dark project that is going on. As the boy, you must battle your way through and overcome many obstacles! Instant classic!"

"This game may very well consume your life. The replay value on Isaac is ridiculous. You can easily put in thousands of hours and still be finding new things. Isaac is a must-play for fans of top-down shooters or rogue-lites. Fair warning though, Isaac is hard. Especially before you learn what items do what, you will probably have a hard time winning, but that's just part of the beauty of the game. Seeing something new, picking it up, seeing how it just changed the game for you and figuring out how to adapt to your ability."

"The Stanley Parable is certainly interesting, but you're right that it doesn't really qualify as a game. I was hoping for something with more meat to it."

"The big daddy of the new Roguelite wave (arguably, Diablo 1 and its clones were the first roguelite wave). The first game to bring procedural generation, permadeath and a focus on emergent gameplay from classical roguelikes into a platformer. This is the remake, the previous pixelated free version is still available to download on the web, with source code. Utterly perfect game design and level generation, with hilarious emergent moments. Yetis in particular can cause incredible chain reactions."

"Papers, Please is truly an argument for video games as art. This is not a game that would work as a movie. This is not a game that would work as a book. It must be played, not seen or read. Once you get into the head of a border guard, demanded to process new and changing information as an endless stream of immigrants ask to get into the country. It starts off simple, but rapidly descends into a fantastic and light-touch story about conspiracy, liberty, and humanity. Do you do your duty? Do you do what's morally right? Do you do what's best for your family? For your country? Do you turn away desperate people? Do you allow in people you can clearly deduce are criminals? Whatever you do... Glory to Arstotzka."
