"Hex Chat is an IRC client but it's free which is really the only one that is. If you're searching for something like this and don't have much cash check it out."

"mIRC is a great and easy way to chat with your friends or co-workers. They are constantly updating, so there is never any issues with the program. It is a clean and easy to use interface, not only practical, but has games as well, so it can be fun."

"Seems like a pretty good program for chatting online. However, I prefer Discord. The UI is much more user friendly and easier to work with. It has a lot more features as well. This is still an okay option though if Discord didn't exist."

"This client is a lifesaver. It's so hard to try and get all of my friends together in a group chat on the same platform, as well as have a safe and organized place to discuss work related issues with my co-workers, and with this I have just that. I have separate groups for everything that I need and we can all stay up to date with what we need, whether I'm on my phone or on my laptop away from the office."

"IRC platforms always seem to be a few years behind other communication platforms. This solves this by having a smooth and colorful interface that makes using IRC a fun experience and not just something that only the most computer savvy use. The options available within the platform are useful and worthwhile, not just gimmicky and pointless. I would suggest this platform for anyone new to using IRC or for current users who want to upgrade their current platform."

"Nettalk is an easy to use and easy to manage Instant Relay Chat (IRC) Client that allows you communicate globally with all of your connections. Nettalk is designed to help you protect your private communications through encrypting messages. Nettalk is a tool that everyone should keep in their communications toolbox."

"I have been looking for a new IRC Client as my old one started having connectivity issues with Windows. So after searching for a long time I found Smuxi. It has been a huge game changer for me as I am able to open an IRC Channel remotely in moments. I would highly recommend it for those who are using IRC channels especially on Windows."

"Foo IRC is a really cool interface for anyone who wants to use IRC on their phone or tablet, rather than a computer. This is pretty new and innovative (to put it on a phone, not the IRC itself.) There's lots of tools that Foo IRC offers for you to mess around with too, and overall I think it's super interesting."

"I really liked KVIrc because I am very interested in internet relay chat systems and open source programs that support them. I really loved the price because it is free! I also only use legal programs, and KVIrc is perfectly legal and can operate on windows and unix based systems without problems. Go for it, you will love it!"

"I use Chrome all the time which makes it so easy to use this app, especially since I can use it on any device that I am signed into Chrome on as long as the app is downloaded. Also enjoy getting desktop notifications which would help when it comes to any updates or messages recieved."

"IceChat is a great tool to use, as it doesn't limit you to using just any one server or a channel. Often it's hard to pay attention to all sources of communications with my friends online, so this program really makes it easier for me to keep track of everything. It really made it easier for me to communicate with my friends and never miss any messages coming my way."

"I was interested in creating a web based chat room platform on my personal website so that users and viewers could interact relatively easily. Mibbit offered the perfect solution to my profile, allowing me to host my viewers and users in a chat room without forcing them to create accounts. With Mibbit, you can just create a nickname, pick a channel and go! I think this was the perfect solution for my website!!"
