I want to be a landscaper, so I was hunting around for some decent landscape design software. Lemme tell you, it's not this my friends. Sketchup is terrible, it has the bare bones of what anyone needs. Thumbs way down. More

I really liked using SketchUp. They had good videos on how to get started using the software. It's not just for landscapes either. They have a search function for so many 3D models that I spent a great deal of time looking through. More

Punch! Landscape, Deck & Patio is a great resource for designing landscapes and outdoor space. It is easy to use, and provided me with great options and ideas for my landscape design. You can browse hundreds of ideas and design and model your own space using the software and then use your design to make it a reality. Highly recommended. More

Landscape, Deck & Patio is far from the best landscape design software out there. It's overpriced and the tools that are in the program are useless. It's hard to make a perfectly sized room because there is no way to measure it. It's a mess. More

this is a really fun piece of software that allows you to customize your ideal yard. i like that they do not just have options for plants (and they have quite an extensive library in that regard!), but allow you to add structures to your design, such as pools, ponds, decks, patios, and gazebos. they also allow you to customize what plants you select based on what type of region / climate you live in. lots of fun to play with! More

This app is a great, fun tool to use to experiment with landscaping ideas. They have a huge selection of items like plants and pools to use for your image. You can either start with a generated image or paste over top of an uploaded image of your house. They also offer estimates for how much your ideal yard will cost to bring to fruition. A very cool, easy to use app. More

Although it is a software, the buy online option is making me to deal with marshalls web trading partner which is absurd. Why do I need to enter my zipcode as a first thing to do to buy it online? The software looks fine but these small details can make me not to buy it. More

I am not sure how I ever designed the gardens around my home before iScape. This app makes coming up with ideas on how you want to design your garden space so easy. I've been toying with the idea of building a low deck in my backyard with built in garden spaces. After I used iScape I was able to get a more clear picture and I could tweak as I went. I used this app to help my mother-in-law with her landscape. She just had her cottage built and was very particular about the landscape. Last year, my garden was a mess. I think I spilled my tomato seeds or something, because I had these neat little rows mapped out mentally, but it ended up being mostly tomatoes everywhere, and I ran out of space for my peppers. This year, I used Garden Plan Pro to sort everything out, with a real game plan instead of some mock-up in my mind. Now my tomatoes are healthy, my peppers are looking awesome, and I even have my bumper crop of cabbage coming in. More

This is an awesome tool to get an idea of some landscaping before you go ahead and do it.
