"LaTex can be a real pain to use if you're not up on all the commands, but in some environments it is a necessity, so you need some sort of help. If you're already using Eclipse for development, the the TeXlipse plugin is really the way to go. You don't need to switch out to a different environment, and so your workflow keeps chugging along. TeXlipse is easy to use. You need to have a very basic grasp of what LaTex is and what you're trying to do with it, and how you want you document to look and function. But you don't need to know too much, and you can figure out stuff as you go, since the TeXlipse interface makes it easy to do that. Definitely a winner for Eclipse users."

"I am a computer programmer that uses many different text editors for code and I have to say i'm quite partial to this program. It's expensive, but it's best text editor for mac. The TODO and HTML bundle saves me so much time when i'm programming, I can't see myself using anything else outside of beta testing."

"Texnicle has a learning curve, but once you get it, its very helpful. Its almost like a tutorial to help you get the hang of it. I use it all the time now to keep track of my projects and manage my projects. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for an editor"

"Writing math formulas in the computer is not easy, but I found that using LaTeX solved my problem. It has macros and auto-complete, live preview that let me know right away how it will look like, but definitely my favorite thing is the Magic Type: I can use my trackpad to draw the symbols I need. Easier now to write math expression for all my tests."

"Looks like I have to download and extract the program. Should not be to hard as that is a simple concept. There is an off chance I might have to put in some Linux code to do some things."

"For those who use LaTex documents, TeXstudio is a must in your daily work with LaTex in order to work more efficiently. For those who are just starting with LaTex, TeXstudio can be your beginner's guide to the LaTex world which is somewhat vast and complicated."

"TeXworks is a simple front-end program for TeX that can be used for all the main operating systems in use today, including Mac OS X. It is well-suited for Mac becuase it was modeled after TeXShop for Mac OS X. There are a lot of good features for the latest release and plans for updates and other features in the future."
