"Yes, you could use a VPN for nefarious purposes. However, you can use them to keep others from using you for nefarious purposes. When you realize just how vulnerable your online life is, you want to put locks on the doors."

"I'm confident I can browse the web without worry because I use Mullvad for my Linus VPN apps. I don't have to research pop ups or offers with this great app so it gives me more time to have fun."

"AirVPN has provided me with quick and user friendly VPN access that offers me a secure connection without any apparent compromise in speed. I use this service most of the time when I connect these days. I find it is quick to connect and does not kick me off from the service."

"Is there something of the anarchist in you? Do you get tired of your Internet spying on you? Then AirVPN might be something you want to look into. It encrypts your information and keeps it away from those spying eyes. And it takes bitcoin."

"Express VPN is alright, it's not the best. The instructions sound easy but it's actually sort of complicated to master. The graphics and set up are clean though."

"Great cross platform support, not just linux exclusive. One subscription gets you access to the app for all sorts of systems. Great for the security-conscious!"

"NordVPN is one of the best VPN services out there. It's easy to use and pretty affordable (they are always running some sort of promo code or something to lower the rate as well). They do not support Torrents however, so if that's something you're looking for, look elsewhere."

"Seems like a good vpn service I use a vpn myself and it seems like its right on par with what I pay and what I have seen. However it is the actual service that will decide how good it really is."

"Buffered is the best of Linux VPN apps. It has unlimited speed and bandwidth, great support, no logging of online activities, protects your privacy and personal information and also protects well against hackers. I am a person who values my online privacy and was always disturbed by the idea of my location and all my info being so easily accessed, so searching for a good VPN app was a priority. I like the features and services of Buffered best of all similar apps I came across. And it has a 30 day money back guarantee so there's nothing to loose.....even though I can't see anyone wanting a refund on this useful app."

"Buffered VPN, while not free, is one of the better paid VPNs. It works on Linux, Mac, and Windows, so whatever your OS you will be covered. It lets you access foreign sites, and do things like watch BBC as if you were a British person. Great app, and not too expensive for what they are offering."
