A very good option for a metronome for drummers
This app has everything you will ever need to learn how to play drums: it features a metronome, more than 100 drum sets, timing exercises and a tempo modifier so you can play at the speed you wish.

Things to note about this app: you will definitely want to invest in a pair of wireless ear buds. Hard to hear otherwise. Also, it doesn't really help me all that much to be honest. I am probably just more traditional and would prefer an actual teacher to force me to stay on task. Someone who has a great deal of motivation could do it though, but it didn't work for me. Sorry. Pro Metronome is a great metronome app perfect for changing beats. There is a paid version of this app that unlocks more features, but the basics are free. It's a great app to pickup and try out. More

Don't bother with this if you are on Android. You have to buy the paid for version to even test let alone unlock even the most basic features and lots of them don't work including the one I really needed - sharing the setlists. It just comes up with an error and says they'll work on it but it hasn't been updated in years for Android. The Android version isn't even listed on the developers site. Probably fine for iOS as it's a MUCH newer version. If it does what it was supposed to do I'm sure it's great - but not on Android. More

The fact that this app has been approved by Mike Mangini should tell you this metronome is no joke. I am not a drummer, I play classical violin... my brother (a drummer) actually turned me on to this app when my beloved metronome met her untimely death at the hands of my crazy cat. I figured I would use the ap until I found a "real" metronome I liked. It's been several months and I am still using it. I can play any tempo but what I really like is that I can customize this app to fit my needs. This app is a must for any musiciam. More

I'm a professional drum player and this app just isn't cutting it for me. I've tried it for awhile but it's obviously aimed at beginners and intermediates. It did have a few nice features but I ended up using a different application. It is free to try so that was nice. More

A very nice metronome app that I've been using to help my students, with great success! Smart customization options and useful features make it the best app of its type, which I've found. Highly recommended!
This application for iOs is an advanced metronome to bring your musical practices to a next level.

Tempo Advance is a good metronome app. Has multiple settings to help keep drummers on the beat. Also has some interesting settings to use more complex timing structures, easy to use for beginners and advanced players.
This app won't only tune your instrument in the tune you choose to, it's also great to practice: record yourself playing with its own metronome, and then listen to yourself playing and notice every mistake you have made.

This app is pretty cool, it has a metronome and you can set it to record your stuff too.
