The Spinxo name generator is alright, but sometimes, it returns names that don't make that much sense or sound odd. It will use only one of the data points you give it, along with a seemingly random word, to make a name that doesn't fully represent you, in these cases. I really like this nickname generator. It may not be for everyone, but it is very simple to use, with only the complexity control slider and generate button as an interface. It may be more appropriate for people who play sci-fi and fantasy rpgs; just playing around with it on the middle setting and I got names like Lytenon, and Penerac, which both seem like great rpg names to me. Even the least complex setting easily generated some pretty cool names like Xene, Traw and Prej. If your having a hard time coming up with something new and different, I'd definitely recommend trying this app. More

The username generator at JIMPIX is a lot of fun. If you're not set on having a name with personal significance then this tool is definitely the one to use. The last time I needed a username my go-to was already taken, and many of my backups. In frustration I came across this username generator. Not only did it generate an available name, but it offered different settings to customize the name to my liking so I didn't end up with something like "TrashEater666".
