"A dictionary cannot possibly teach you everything you need to know about English. You will not find out about grammar. That being said should everyone have dictionary either physical or digital? Absolutely. IS this app excellent? Yes. As good as having a physical one."

"The best feature about this app is that you can use it offline. However an English dictionary should know English words, but it seemed like some of the definitions were processed through a translator first. Great for spelling or if you're a native speaker, but probably wouldn't recommend it to secondary English speakers."

"I use dictionary apps at work to make sure I do not misspell words. At my work I have no wifi or cell signal. I use The Free Dictionary because of this. It has every word I have tried to look up so far. It is easy to use and reliable for me. I think it is the best dictionary app I ave tried."

"For most people this should be more than good enough on the go. Even in a quiet environment this app has about any word you could search for and how to use it."

"For a good offline dictionary (needed on long car trips with a bored curious three-year-old), I downloaded Dict Box Pro. It's great for looking up words she does not know. She spells the words and it goes to the definition. Very simple and efficient. My only suggestion would be for a voice option."
