"Interesting story line alongside open world RPG makes Fallout 4 a continuing treasure trove of content. Just would be wary if you are a younger gamer due to the mature content of the game."

The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings

"A great sequel to an amazing series. The combat in this one is far better than witcher 1. The story line lacked a bit, but the amazing narration made up for it."
  3. #3
    Dark Souls III

    Windows , PlayStation 4 , Xbox One

"Dark Souls III matches it's name perfectly, its dark. I wanted a game that had an entertaining open world for my computer, and Dark Souls III fit the bill. The game has exciting enemies to battle and excellent graphics. The game itself is very challenging, however not impossible. The game is just beautiful."

"The Witcher is an older release. It is largely player-directed and does provide freedom within the story. It is set in a fantasy universe. You play as Geralt of Rivia, a monster hunter tasked with finding a child from an ancient prophecy."

"I wouldn't exactly call Dark Souls 2 open world. It is but isn't. It would have been nice to see a list of games instead of just having one presented. Not satisfied with this solution."

"There are a lot of RPG games for the PC out there but not many are open world. Vampire the Masquerade lets you roam anywhere as a young vampire. The play is fun, graphics are good and its neat to be able to openly explore a gaming environment."

    Slime Rancher

    $19.99 - 0

"Slime Rancher was an interesting RPG. I would not buy it, but I would not mind trying it out again for free. Essentially, all you are doing is raising slimes which can get boring and rerepetitious, but it does help with relaxing since it's not too hard. Overall, it's fine, but not great."

    NieR: Automata

    Windows , PlayStation 4

    $59.99 - 0

"I have played this game since it has came out. I have put in over fifty hours into this game. I can say this is one of the best games I have ever played. It is open world but I the map isn't as big as other open world games, but that's not really an issue as it helps you to complete more of the story and to spend time leveling up the character you control. I love how the game instantly switches game style in real time making the game more action orientated than just a traditional RPG. The story is amazing and the boss fights are really though. I would recommend this game to those looking for an action RPG a genera that sadly needs more games."

"I was stranded on a lush tropical island inhabited by mammoth dinosaurs. To survive, I scavenged resources to make tools and built a home to protect me. I collected seeds to plant and fertilized them with dinosaur excrement. Then I made weapons to hunt the prehistoric beasts for their hides and meat. The dinosaurs are dangerous but it is the other humans that will kill you without even the slightest provocation."

"I like playing Mount & Blade : Warband. I feel the adventure when I go to battle and motivate my army to save the save and win the throne ! The action-oriented role playing game keeps bringing me back to it."

"Vampire: The Masquerade - Redemption is such a freaky and amazing game! I get so freaked out when I play this game but I cannot stop. I don't play when I am home alone, or have anything to do that day because I get totally caught up in this game. It's an RPG full of action in journeys through open worlds."

"Morrowind is a classic RPG, huge in scope and a truly epic tale. The Elder Scrolls have a reputation for putting out fantastic RPG games, and this is no exception to that. If you're an RPG lover and haven't picked this up- you're really missing something special. Go do it!"

"Explore an expansive and rich world; venture through thick forests, ancient ruins, deep caverns, and besieged towns. From the southern sands of the frigid glaciers to the north, engage in battle with the terrifying monsters and other unsavoury figures that aim to stand in your way. Collect an enormous amount of items, loot, weapons and armour from a colossal variety of monsters."

"I played the open world sandbox game Villagers and Heroes and I was mesmerized for hours by the amazing graphics, game play, and story line. This game should be owned by anyone who considers themselves to be a serious massive multiplayer online role playing gamer. I did not leave my computer chair for three days it was so great."
