Eat Real Food or Else gave me so many good ideas that I can honestly say it revolutionized my kitchen! I never knew it was possible to eat low sugar, low carb, and gluten free and still be delicious. My family loves it too!" -

#4"I have used the method listed on the site plainly called "Low-Carb, Real-Food." The tips for the diet and what to eat and drink are really helpful to me. It was great seeing in plain normal speak and not in some higher knowledge weird speak what to eat, what's good and what's bad. The information provided helped me lose 30 pounds!"

#5"My New Roots is a great mobile friendly website that helps me find very unique healthy recipes that can be prepared relatively quickly. The recipes on there are very high gourmet looking and can help me prepare a great looking healthy meal without having to search through pages and pages of recipe results on Google."

#6Also ranked #5 in ways to live a happy & healthy life"Great book for learning about nutrition. This book offers accurate and valid information on nutritional studies over the past 20 years. Find out about the food pyramid and how to eat to remain in good health. It is refreshing to have such a well-qualified group of researchers "go out on a limb" and put forth some concrete recommendations on how to eat to be healthy. Lack of knowledge is probably the leading cause of problems with one's health and this book provides a basis in remedying that problem. This is a great book for parents and families who want to learn how to eat the right food."

Eat Happy: Gluten Free, Grain Free, Low Carb Recipes Made from Real Foods For A Joyful Life
$9.67
"This book is great for those who are dealing with dietary issues like Celiac's Disease! The recipes were colorful, delicious, and healthy. Most importantly for me, they were easy to make. I am sometimes bored with the options for gluten-free meals, and this book helped make my food much more interesting." -

#9"This billed itself as the best weight loss tracker, so I gave it a shot after having made my way through a book of smoothies that really packed on the pounds. The amateur graphics and the bugs are bad enough, but the real problem is, it just really sucks for tracking weight loss!"

#10"Mealime - Healthy Meal Plans is a great APP since a lot of the time I do not have time to cook a healthy meal since looking up recipes is very time confusing. Mealime - Healthy Meal Plans solves that issue for me since it's an app on my phone that I have on me at all times. I can quickly look up healthy recipes and have them served up within the hour easily."

#14Also ranked #2 in diet and exercise tracking apps"8Fit is a highly rated, and pretty useful tool for tracking and planning my meals and fitness. I have used 8Fit as a basic meal planner and fitness tracker, but it does not provide a very in depth form of macro-tracking. However, I think this has been a great tool for getting in the habit of eating well and exercising daily."

#15"Carly is pretty knowledgeable when it comes to dieting tips and losing weight, but not all of her vlogs are dedicated to this topic. Sometimes I wish she went into more detail on how to implement better eating habits; she sort of glosses over the general tips. I found her entertaining enough though, and was able to change some of my own habits thanks to her."

#16"I love this blog! And I'm not even trying to lose weight - I do try to eat as healthily as possible though and the blog is very useful for that. The pics are great, the mix of topics is good, and best of all, reading it puts me in a good mood. The only thing I sometimes find a bit of a drag is that most of her recipes are pretty classic; good, but not too original. I'd love it if she risked going a bit more off the beaten path once in a while. Other than that, a steady source of inspiration."

#17Also ranked #1 in food and nutrition tracking apps"Recently, I decided I wanted to start getting healthy, but I didn't want just another calorie counter. I wanted to make sure I was eating the right foods, not just the right amounts. Fooducate was everything I was looking for and more. Not only does it do the same things most other trackers do, like count calories and log exercise, but it actively gives recommendations on the types of foods my diet is missing but should be eating. It even customizes those recommendations if I'm on any kind of specific diet, like vegetarian or vegan. While I haven't used it, it was perfect for my friend who is doing the paleo diet. Definitely would recommend this app to anyone who is interested in losing weight the right way."

#18Also ranked #10 in apps similar to weight watchers"Just in case one of the very first things you did *not* download to your android phone was a calorie counter, then here is one that you can get for free. It's free, because in-app products cost $28.49 to $59.99 per item. Hey! Developers have to get rich somehow! Why not off of you and your attempts to get fit."

#19"One of the largest problems I face when trying to lose weight is finding things to eat and cook for myself. I heard about the Clean-Eating Plan and Recipes site and after looking through it for a week or two can say that it has helped me add a plethora of recipes to my cooking arsenal."

#21"I've been hearing about the Paleo diet from some of my friends so I bought Paleo Fitness to see whether it might be something I could incorporate into my own lifestyle. I guess it may work for some people, but I found the dietary suggestions to be too elaborate and time consuming to be practical in my life. I think I'm content to stick with my old fashioned vegetarian diet which has been good to me for over 20 years."
-
#22"When I first started getting interested in a paleo diet, my friend got this book for me to learn about it. It was a useful resource for finding inspiration in the foods one can enjoy on the paleo diet, and at times gave me the strength and encouragement to continue with it."

#23Also ranked #2 in books about plant based diet"There are two reasons I like this book a lot. The first is because everything is so simple to make in it. I like to cook, but I am not very patient when it comes to complex recipes. The recipes in this book are simple and very easy to make. The second reason I like it so much is because everything I have made so far has been so delicious. I can't wait to try out more of the recipes."
