"It's a legit website with a simple interface, it's easy to find what you want, when you want it. I highly recommend this to family and friends looking to watch movies or tv shows that they might have missed or wanted to rewatch."

"Bass Guitar Tutor is an iOS app for learning how to play bass guitar. I think it's a great app because it teaches the fundamentals of bass which a lot of self taught players may skip over. Bass Guitar Tutor works with you on scales and chords, from which you can build a good starting point for more advanced playing."

"I've always wanted to learn bass guitar, but never had time in my youth. Now I'm retired I thought I could try and finally pick it up. I thought I'd start with an online course so I could go at my own pace. I found this Udemy class, and spent $50 on it, discounted from $200 which I thought was a good deal at the time. Once I started, though, it just didn't work out. The instructor was grating, and not very clear. Not enough time was spent on fingering, in my opinion. And, to add insult to injury, not two week after I bought in, they were selling the same course, The Professional Bass Masterclass, for $10! Not a happy camper."

"I recently decided to start learning how to play the bass guitar again. I didn't get too far during my first attempt last year. Besides taking lessons, I also found an app on the Itunes store called ABRSM Speedshifter. It's a great program that assists a lot with practicing playing several tracks at different speeds."

Did you know that Jimi Hendrix is considered to be one of the most influential musicians of all time for his contribution to music? Aside from the several improvements on styles of playing guitar that he contributed, he also set the trend for singing and playing the lead at the same time—that is why we often see the image of rock stars today as someone who holds the guitar and also sings. In the parlance of music, the guitar plays four roles in a band such as rhythmic, melodic, harmonic, textural, and/or timbre. In the event that the guitar is not playing the melody, it is usually part of the rhythm.

The guitar comes in so many forms such as acoustic, electric, classical, renaissance, baroque, resonator, acoustic bass, and many more. Interestingly, most often than not, bassists are one of the most underrated musicians in a band because according to an article on Spinditty, they are laid back. However, little did people know that bassists are the ones responsible for keeping everything together. Yes, they are responsible for the harmony through their one-octave lower notes. Aside from establishing the harmony, they also give emphasis on the beat of the music. Lastly, they serve as the referee between the electric guitar and full-on acoustic drums.

"I'm learning bass guitar this summer, so I decided to try this app from the apple app store. It has a lot of music within the program, but the instruction side is a little rough. There's a bit of a learning curve."

"It's specifically about walking bass rather than the basics of bass guitar. But it does fit as a resource for learning to play bass guitar."
