"One of many resources available online but a great choice never the less. This online journal website helps me control various aspects of writing online such as privacy. I am also able to get feedback on my entries to see what I can improve on or if my work has at least made an impact on other lives."

"FitDay is awesome for those who are trying to lose weight, and want to log their efforts. You don't need an internet connection, can add food and be told what you need to do to work it off, and more."

"I was looking for someplace secure to keep all of my juicy secrets and in my searching I found Monkkee. Sometimes I just need to write and get my frustrations out, but I don't want anyone else reading those words and I have quite enjoyed using Monkkee as an online journal. I've been using this site for about six months and haven't run into any problems yet. I intend to keep using it and plan on starting a more regular journal of my life. What a great place for online journaling!"

"As a daily journaler, this app is a godsend. Journaling has always been a great way to debrief and reconsider my day, but I never realized how much of the experience could be improved. With Day One, there are no faded pages and editing is a breeze."

"I've been very interested in getting into online journaling for quite a long time. I've read a lot about online journaling and the different blogs people have used in the past to chronicle their lives. Penzu matches up with a lot of these other sites but the presentation looks a lot more pleasant. The site has been a pleasure to use and I am glad I found it."

"There's various writing prompts that tickle the mind with thoughts that encourage independent thinking. I think journaling is a fantastic way to learn and I love how this book has utilized journaling to teach independence. It could have been just a textbook or a self help guide book, but no. This book is engaging and facilitates active learning."

"I love to journal and sure I knew that there were many blog platforms out there for free, but I wanted something different and I wanted something unique. I wanted a platform that was dedicated and tailored to journalist like myself that gave me the tools and the elements to share my work with the world in an easy and effective way. Prosebox allows me to do that in an anonymous way and it also allows me to create many different journals for my varying interests as well. A lot of websites make it very difficult to do journalism on the go as they are difficult to use on a mobile device, but Prosebox has you covered there and their interface is very easy to use on a mobile phone. I don't have to worry about formatting no matter what device I use and the interface makes it easy to edit and add to my journal with no problem."

"I've been thinking about getting into online journaling for a long time. I perused the internet testing out various platforms before I ended up going with LiveJournal. Livejournal is a well-known journaling site that has a huge community since it is been out for a long time. The lengthy age makes it more trustworthy then other sites, the platform has had years of development to make it super user friendly and the expansive community makes it hard to get bored."

"I love to write. But I don't always know what to write, or when, or even sometimes how. A friend gave me Joyce Chapman's Journaling for Joy: Writing your Way to Personal Growth and Freedom, and I can honestly say it's changed my perspective to journaling. The book gives me clear and easily executable ways to connect with my emotions and to record the events, experiences, and sensations of my life."

"A friend gave this to me as a present because they know that I like journaling, but personally I found it a little unnecessary. When I'm on the road and traveling or backpacking, I'm not usually glued to the internet, and I much prefer writing in my physical diary. This meant I would retype my diary entries into Travel Diaries, which just seemed like a lot of work for nothing. I'm not big on sharing things online, otherwise I could see the appeal."

"I love Journalate! I've kept a diary since I was very young but it's amazing how much room those notebooks take up. Plus if I want to write when I'm not home I have to tote it everywhere with me. I enjoy journaling online and this site is great. It's private which is important to me, I'm writing for me not for a blog, and it's very convenient to access it from wherever I feel like writing. Best of all it's free. I love how this type of technology makes my life easier!"
