"This is the go-to guide for all of you, compulsive buyers. I used to be one and this book opened my eyes. I found out how I spent tons of cash on really useless things, and I didn't even know it. If you're looking for financial advise, this is the book you have to read."

"I picked this up not expecting much but it has improved and changed the way I look at money, saving and investing. I have been able to save over double the amount I was saving every month with just a few quick and easy lifestyle changes. Some very good advice in here that I have yet to even touch, highly recommend."

"While there are so many great ideas and useful suggestions here, the one that really saved me money was #23 Try a smaller carrier or a pay-as-you-go plan. The smaller carriers are cheaper for my needs, and you still get great service. Also, while some of the ideas I was already doing, I found at least five things I wasn't and hadn't even thought of. Great article."

"Wikihow's recommendations on how to save money has helped me. I have started to use their recommendation to keep a monthly budget of my expenses. I now write down every single thing I purchase on a daily basis. This has taken away stress of not knowing how much I have spent monthly on food and bills. So this way I have kept within my budget and my family is much happier that I spend less."

"This is a fabulous article guaranteed to save you money if you implement some of the apps into your daily life. 25 apps can seem overwhelming so pick a few to begin with and go from there. I recommend Ibotta as a first try."

"I'm always faced with the problem of having too many accounts and passwords to remember. It's hard for me to keep track of everything since it's all online now. My bank accounts, credit card accounts, and investment accounts are all over the place so it's annoying when I'm on my mobile and go to check my balances. I have to constantly open up a handful of apps and then switch back and forth to make sure things are steady. I found this wonderful app called PocketGuard and have been using it for the past month and this is a really good app for my needs. It categorizes and organizes my expenses so I'm always on top of my finances. I can manage my bank accounts, credit and debit cards as well. I really like how I can sync my loans, savings, and other finances and it gives me spending charts and graphs to help visualize how I'm spending. This is terrific for me because I'm terrible at budgeting and keeping track of my finances. I can now set my own limits and there are notifications that let me know when I'm getting to close to that limit I set. My favorite thing about this app, PocketGuard is that I have all my important accounts in one app now. That need to constantly open different apps and switch back and forth are over for me. There are in-app purchases that will allow greater control so be aware of that. Other than that, this is safe and secure app with simplicity that dummy users, like myself, will find easy to and intuitive to use."

"I'm an online shopping addict. I confess and cannot lie. I cyber shop like no tomorrow and E-Commerce sites probably have me as a frequent shopper based on endless daily visits. The thing is, I'm always searching for great deals, but really, who isn't. I found this site, Offers.com, and let's get one thing straight, this site offers all the most current and up to date deals and coupons I could ever dream of. Need new sneakers, Offers.com has my back and I'm looking at Brand new sneakers from New Balance with a killer 15% off deal and free shipping. The wife loves browsing through Offers.com because there are so many deals from the apparel stores as well as the big department stores. I've wasted so much time in the past just randomly web searching for items and browsing to dead end links but I've found that with Offers.com just about any store and any need I'm looking for can be found here. It saves me so much time and the money savings with the coupons and promos is excellent. I've bookmarked Offers.com and it's basically my starting homepage for both my home desktop, laptop, as well as my work desktop. What can I say, I'm an online shopping addict and Offers.com is just feeding the need."

"Yes, the site has coupons but it's absolutely hideous and covered with ads. I wouldn't use it unless they had a coupon for 1/2 off on a Rolex. I guess there are some decent deals there but the whole site looks pretty sketchy to me. I'd stick with Dealnews.com or just use Amazon."

"Great money saving website. I have tried other websites like this and was usually frustrated with what they offered. RedPlum actually shows deals for places I actually shop and has coupons for items that I actually use! I will not shop again without checking this site first!"

"I'm the absolute WORST at saving money. It's a habit that I haven't been able to beat and am always trying to find ways to make saving money easier. Digit is an app that makes it easy to save money. The app monitors your spending habits every few days and saves money from your account so my money won't be gone every pay period!"

"Having been on a budget my entire life, I've grown to love cutting coupons. It's a way of life for me, and having more resources is always a blessing. That said, Hopster doesn't offer the best deals, and it's actually pretty bad. I'd stick to Coupon.com, personally, and use coupons that come from your retailers website and weekly ad. You'll save more money that way."

"ShopAtHome claims to save you money while you shop at your favorite stores. While that may be true for small purchases, others have stated that they stop paying out and come up with excuses as to why they avoid paying. Ask yourself how they are making money if all they do is give you cash back. Do they sell your data? Do yourself a favor, cut out the middleman and look for legitimate coupon codes from the actual stores themselves, or wait for deals to come by."

"Have you ever heard of Coupon Mom? Well, I'm Coupon Dad. All right...not really. But I am into couponing because...well, it's helpful. I've been able to find some really good deals lately. RetailMeNot has been one of my main go-to websites lately and I'm quite happy with it. Heck, it even allowed me to chomp down on a free pizza the other day."

"It's okay at saving money but it won't save you so much. It only helps you if you're spending and, from my experience, it didn't help me that much. Better to go to the sites you're spending on themselves."

"SmartSource is a hassle, is poorly put together, and hard to navigate. You can never be sure if what you're printing will actually be current, scannable, or accepted at the stores near you, and there's a good chance you could be wasting your time."

"The personalfinance reddit is a great place to start looking for finance advice. I wouldn't say it's the be-all and end-all of personal finance, but there are so many resources, links, and news that you will have a good starting point to learn and explore your own personal finance journey."
