"This thing doesn't work. Drums are all about rhythm, and it's nearly impossible to keep a steady beat due to the delay in sounds. You press a button, and it's takes a half a second before the sound plays. When you try to play two drums at once, it gets even worse. This app is not worth it."

"My friends suggested that we start a band and since they already know how to play instruments and I do not, they told me to look into learning drums. Drum Learn Tube does not offer any original content but instead finds the best Youtube videos available about learning the drums and presents them to the viewer. This saved me time with searching on Youtube but I found some of the videos to be more miss than hit in terms of usefulness or quality. I know it's subjective but I thought the selected videos could have been more vetted. A good resource to start a youtube search though."

"The resources are a little hard to find on how to play drums. Also the videos are way to advanced on how to play drums which makes no sense since it even says "how to play..." on the videos. Very poor way of teaching."

"It was probably a big mistake to get my kid a drumkit for Christmas. Regardless, there's no turning back now. I've just got to deal with the noise as best as I can. But if the kid's gonna create a racket, it might as well sound good, right? So I signed the kid up to get free lessons with Drumeo. He's still working on the basics - which this site covers very well. When he gets better there's a lot more advanced material, too. The kid's having fun and I'm sure he'll improve a lot soon."

"Alfred's Beginning Drumset Method is a widely used guide to learning how to play the drums but some of the techniques are rather rudimentary and the book often progresses much too quickly, not allowing the beginner to learn more gradually. The book itself is also quite expensive for what you are getting."

"This is really an almost flawless site, and I've used it daily to continue on my path to become the next Neil Peart. However, the use of Flash videos is becoming something of a problem, with my recent browser. Also, it seems a lot of the premium videos have free equivalents on Youtube now."

"The description sounds great! It is worded wonderfully, however I would use less of the drum playing terms in the description. The use of drum lingo gives the description an intimidation factor. If I was interested in learning to play drums I would definitley consider this course!"

"I've always wanted to learn to play the drums since I was a kid. Unfortunately, life got in the way, and I just don't have the time to go learn from an instructor. I started browsing online for some courses that I could take so that I could learn at my own pace. I came across the "Learn to Play The Drums" course on Udemy and it is fantastic! It offers many hours of video tutorials and allows me to learn at my own pace. So if one day, I only have a half hour of free time, I'll fire up a course, watch, and learn. It's definitely a must for anyone interested in learning to play, but don't have the time to block out scheduled time for an in-person instructor."

"This Youtube channel, Drumeo, is very helpful for learning to play the drums. I tend to be more of a visual learner and this channel offers an enormous amount of videos that are very helpful. From beginner drum lessons, videos on how to tune your drums, all the way to just watching professional musicians play they have pretty much every video related to drums possible."

"He has tons of videos and they interesting but you have to really search for a video where he's actually playing drums. The guy is the king of personal stories and metaphors and it gets a little annoying. I already know I want to play drums and I really don't care about his opinion or life."

"There are better options than using an app. Check local schools or community colleges to see if you can learn there. Or rent from a music store and watch youtube videos. You need to play real drums, an app won't cut it."

"If you're jonesing for your drums while away from home, try out Classic Drum. It's got a bunch of vintage drum sets you can play right on your phone or tablet. Yeah, its not the same as banging on the skins down in the basement but it will help get you through until you're reunited with your real drums."
