Trello seems to be a decent story mapping tool if you are looking for one. It seems to have most of the features that you would need.

There's no shortage of story mapping tools on the market. JIRA sets itself apart by being more pleasant to look at and by being more intuitive for the users. Me and my teammates can get a lot more work done since we don't waste as much time asking and looking for answers on how to use the software.

JIRA was the perfect program to help keep my team on task. The ability to delegate tasks and follow up helped me keep a global view on the project while it was being completed.

Cardboard is fantastic idea for storyboarding ideas with friends and coworkers but beware you might need a pretty beefy computer to use it fully. It ran on my computer perfectly fin but not on my friend's cheap laptop. More

Well, feature map is an interesting idea. I'm glad we started with the trial, though, because it didn't really fit our needs. We needed something for stories, but feature map is heavily focused on managing people and tasks. While we did try to make it fit our needs, there were simply too many features that didn't match up. It has some great features, and looks like it will be a good tool for organizing projects and allocating resources, ideas, and jobs. Through this tool i can basically manage all the tasks for my finance team which based on different locations. My team is divided into different tasks from transactional, reporting and management and some overlap across the activities, thus requiring the need for a dynamic organiser of our tasks on a weekly basis. And that was made possibly through this tool. More

This is a great tool for help teams come together and work more efficient. Just wish it had some story mapping tools in it cause that would be a great feature to have. More

This takes the whiteboard to a whole new level. When you need to brainstorm from different locations, this allows you to all be looking at the same visualization at the same time. Even if someone has to leave and the main meeting is over, those that are working on it can come back at anytime. Mural is a great site to access tools for story mapping. One of the positive attributes of this site is that you can try it out for 30 days to see if you like it. Using mural will also help alleviate some of the problems with fitting in time to collaborate. Mural will replace the time needed for travelling and scheduling through Mural collaboration. I would give it a try. More

Mural connects you to a network that makes brainstorming or story mapping easy. You won't have to suffer through doing it manually or face to face any more. Very convenient technology. More

i have found craft to be extremely aesthetically pleasing and it has worked alright for my story mapping purposes. I use the different phase tools to accomplish this, although i have to say that there are a lot of features i dont use. i'm a small operation the the communication features geared towards teams of people in product development seem like overkill for me but i find it good for the purposes i use it for . More

This mapping tool has a horrible workflow. It's very complicated to use and has a steep learning curve. They should make it much more user friendly.

dapulse is a good project management tool, and it does allow story mapping. It's not just designed for story mapping, so it may not be the best place to start for someone who's just trying to figure out what story mapping is all about. I'm glad I checked out this tool, but I'd still like to get more information about the best story mapping tools that are out there. More
