"Memrise has been a nice way to kill time on my phone. I like the feeling that I get from building my vocabulary as it makes me feel smart. I have found this app to work a lot better than traditional means of studying."

"Since finding Duolingo, I've been having a really difficult time of putting my phone down. I've always loved learning new languages and Duolingo has such a wealth of languages to choose from. Right now I'm trying to pick up my French since I haven't used it since high school and it's really fun to just play the games while learning the vocabulary words. They have so many languages that I'm trying to figure what else I want to learn. The interface is straightforward which really appeals to me and the fun pictures displayed for the vocabulary words to learn make this really aesthetically pleasing. There are probably other options out there but I find this to be the most addictive and effective in helping me learn those key vocabulary words. To me, Duolingo is probably the best vocabulary building app I've tried is my current go to app for practicing my speaking, reading, listening, and writing skills. I get to do all this while I'm playing the game, what more can I ask for!"

"Busuu helped me learn a language. There's lots of languages to learn and it helped me to build my vocabulary in another language. I'm sure it will work in any language that people speak, but for me it worked in what I was learning."

"Are you a big magazine reader, like I am? issuu needs to be a part of your world, then. With over 20,000 magazines and other content, this is a treasure trove of information for anyone who wants to expand their horizons. I found it a few years ago and I've probably read thousands of articles and publications since. This site is completely invaluable!"

"First off, I really appreciate the honesty of this app. While I think games are of course useful during the learning process, sometimes you do just need to put in some effort if you want to learn something new, which this app acknowledges. I also how the flashcards also give you the root word. This allows for a deeper understanding of the word, and you can start to understand the logic of English a bit better."

"Wurdle helped me think outside the box when trying to learn more words. Typically, that's a pretty boring process. But Wurdle "gamified" it such that I actually wanted to keep learning words."

"This is a great way to improve your vocabulary and have fun at the same time. I really like that it can help you with vocabulary found in the GRE and SAT tests. It would be nice to hear the words spoken especially for non-native English speakers."

"Vocabulary has always been an issue that I try to improve. As the years go on I try to keep improving the way that I speak and write. I came across Vocabador some time ago and have noticed a significant increase in the words that come to mind as I speak on a regular basis. The growth has been nice."
