"It's a legit website with a simple interface, it's easy to find what you want, when you want it. I highly recommend this to family and friends looking to watch movies or tv shows that they might have missed or wanted to rewatch."

"This is a pretty good site for free music, but it's mostly background music for projects, etc. I use it in my YouTube videos. But if you're looking for fully composed listening music and top 100 hits, I would look elsewhere."

"I love to download music, but I hate paying .99 cents a song (looking at you, iTunes)...and I hate feeling like a crook when I download songs for free from illegal sites. Incompetech gives me the ability to download free and legal music. It's free, and legal, and music...what more could you ask for?"

"If you are a teacher who is looking for music to use in the classroom or for school projects, Free Music Archive provides just the solution. Search the Free Music Archive for the type of music you want and use it non-commercially at no cost."

"Remember the days when you built your digital music collection through Napster illegally? When now you can do the same...but LEGALLY! I really like the different categories you can search music by on Musopen, from genre to instrument, and even form (duet, sonata, etc.)! This would be great for music teachers and students to get broad exposure to different styles."

"I've always been worried about downloading free music in the internet because you never know if it's legal or not. However, with this site-Partners in Rhyme- you can breathe safely knowing that all the content you download is not only free but legal as well. The majority(if not all) the songs in their catalog are royalty free and have no copyright attached to them, so always know that whatever you decide to download is totally fine by the artists that produced their music. Personally, I used a lot of their music for my new website and youtube videos. It has been an amazing experience!"

"I had become bored with the music that I was finding online. I also didn't feel comfortable downloading music illegally. I was looking for a place to download free music from independent artists. After discovering NoiseTrade I've found many new artists that I enjoy. The music is free but you can also send a donation to the artists if you really enjoy their music."

"Decent radio program. Gives a lot of variety in it's "spiking tracks and spiking artists" section so you can keep getting fresh music. Site is a little cluttered and has an annoying counter on the main screen that never stops though."

"I really appreciate this site I found in its relating to downloading music. Usually I have gotten music form Itunes, but there have been songs my independent artist that I want but are not available. I have found so many artist that I would not have know about before with Opne Music. Ive become a few fan of so many artist and the fake that there music is open for download, is just a winning point."

"The content at archive.org is well known for its depth and breadth. They are doing great work and one of their hidden gems is the collection of music. I suggest to anyone who is looking that they start here first."

"Though the quality is pretty low, Jamendo itself is a wonderful place to get legal music for free. So long as you credit the creators, they're perfectly fine with you using it for just about anything at all. Some stuff sounds perfect for movies, others for books, so you have to sort through it, but it's still a good place to start."

"I needed to find a good website to download free and legal music. I'm a huge music fan, but don't have a lot of money to work with. I found Soundcloud and, although some of the music is very good, it doesn't have any of my favorite artists. The music is unique and you either like it or hate it most of the time. It's nice that it's free, but since they don't have any of the music I like or popular artists, I don't recommend it at all."

"This software is a pretty decent application for finding new music through Youtube playlists. I've used it for about a month or so now and have found quite a few different artists out there that I may not have found otherwise. I do use Spotify and Pandora so I guess I could have found them through that. The interface from this was pretty easy, though. Definitely made searching much easier."

"This is one of the oldest running platforms for music. The thing is, it's not free. It has a free trial and then you pay for it. There's countless other free platforms for free and legal music. This is not one of them. Overall, it's worth it if you want some niche music picks but it's somewhat pricy for what it offers when alternatives do it better."

"I wanted to be able to get some music from groups I like that are not main stream. This has been the answer to that problem. Music is uploaded and you can download for free or even buy or sell your own music. It does not have everything since that would be illegal but it has a nice variety that I enjoy."

"The music itself isn't free to download, but it's still a good source of royalty-free music for any projects. There's also free sound engineering tutorials which again, not free *music*, but super useful for audio projects."

"I love to listen to music, so I am always looking for websites to legally download new songs for free. I recently discovered Soundcloud Downloader. It is pretty good, but still not quite what I am looking for. I will use it until something better comes along."
