"This program is the best for video editing, I use it all the time and <i'm always happy with the results. I find it easy to use, but maybe you do need to get used to it first. Still, it's not that hard"

"CrashCourse is a YouTube channel that covers sociology, mythology, film history and computer science. I found the computer science to be interesting and helpful. I didn't enjoy the sociology segment that I saw but based on the computer science I say it fits the topic nicely."

"AsapScience is a youtube channel that covers many topic and they try to mix in humor with the science to make it more fun. The humor in most cases is a little corny for my tastes, but others may find it funny and enjoyable. They cover some useful topics and some that are a little goofy but they still fit the topic."

"The Spotlight is really hit or miss. You will get a general wave of things, from news to music and so on thanks to the trending. However I'd specifically look for a channel dedicated to learning before going to something so broad."

"TED Talks has a lecture on every topic all on one channel. This Youtube channel has covered metaphysical, spiritual, religious, and scientific topics so I know that I can find a diverse array of lecture material to sort through. TED Talks really gives me the opportunity to access educational content that is very engaging. I love this channel because of the controversial content that you can find on there as well. It is the best YouTube channel for learning because it has over 90,000 recorded speeches. Great channel!"

"Lifehacker is a youtube channel that teaches you how to do projects that you can possibly come across in everyday life. I have used them to learn how to rip my dvd movies to my pc and the video was perfectly done. I followed the steps and it was simple. They fit the topic extremely well."

"There are a lot of good YouTube channels that will teach you cool tricks or science, or whatever it may be. I came across Veritasium which does a lot of experiments with science and engineering. There are a lot of cool stuff in there. I would recommend it."

"VSauce is not the kind of learning channel for students. The learning you do with this channel is more of the kind that you could use to impress friends. Not saying the information is bad, it is just a type of knowledge that has few uses."

"Edutopia is a great resource for kids in school to supplement their education. The channel offers many niche topics that aren't warranted enough time in school such as developing skills in social relationships, emotional coping, and new technology. Many role models have a cameo in the channel like George Lucas, making it attractive to not only kids but their parents as well. Even though there are no instructors in direct contact with the kids, Edutopia provides many videos that can offer an intimate form of learning for kids."

"Built up on clips from Discovery Channel shows, this channel is full of interesting bits and bobs to get you hooked on their shows. You can learn a bunch, sure, but it's really just advertisement. Go to SciShow instead if you want to learn things."

"Real Stories is a bit inconsistent in terms of it being a place that offers educational content. Some videos seem to be designed to inform you about an issue, whereas others seems to be geared around shocking and titillating the video and drawing them in with "click-bait" style video and images of unfortunate people trapped in difficult lifestyles that the audience is just kind of going to gawk at. Maybe go through the videos and design a custom playlist of the ones that present the material in an unemotional and nuanced tone if you want to be able to use this channel to gain some knowledge that would be useful to have in other contexts."

"This is a cool channel that tells you about a wide range of scientific facts and discoveries in a simple and entertaining way. It's certainly more useful to watch an episode of The Brain Scoop than some kind of stupid soap opera or drama TV show. However, I have to acknowledge that the channel is more entertaining than educational. Of course, you will learn smth while watching it but it's not gonna be a deep knowledge and probably not very useful for professional purposes. But just to broaden one's knowledge it is perfect."
